Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni Overview:
The trailer of Srijit Mukherjee’s new thriller series ‘Rabindranath never came here to eat’ has been released. The series is based on the novel of famous Bangladeshi writer Mohammad Nazimuddin. The name of the character played by Ajmeri in the series is Mushkan Zuberi who has played the role of the owner of the restaurant. The name of this restaurant is as strange as it is strange. All the food items are on the menu.
Rahul Bose and Anibarna Bhattacharya joined, but to everyone’s surprise, Ajmeri Haque Bandhan got a chance to play the role of the mysterious young Muskan Zuberi. She has not been in the news yet with ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’, she has not even walked on the red carpet, so everyone should be surprised!
However, Srijit Babu has adapted this Bangladeshi novel into a screenplay in the context of Kolkata, changing the names of some of the characters. E.g. Nirupam Chanda became Noor Chafa, but Atar Ali has its own name in the novel.
Whether it is a thriller movie or a series, the first part is very important for it, good results cannot be expected if it is not emphasized. The same thing happened with ‘Rabindranath never came here to eat. The first half is quite clich, not to increase interest, the second half is better than that.
Rahul Bose at first seemed immature in the role of Nirupam Chand, though as the story progressed he was able to delve deeper. Anirban Bhattacharya was the wrong choice in the role of Attar Ali, such a great actor should have used his acting talent, but it was overused. The chemistry of Nirupam Chanda-Atar Ali did not freeze. Anjan Dutt is acting, this is the essence. I like Pradeep Bhattacharya’s performance, Anirban Chakraborty is also good. Gorkhadak Falu boy also did well.
Our binding, in the end, the character was challenging for him. The character is very heavy, he has tried. But even if the light is spread for a little bit of creation, it does not seem to be complete. Nevertheless, I thought he was the best performer in the series Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni.
Didn’t like this web series. More can be said about feeling bad, but there are good aspects. The plane scenes are good. However, this series will be special for the song. There is a great arrangement of Ustad Rashid songs, with Rabindra Sangeet sung by Jayati Chakraborty. Although the use of Rabindra Sangeet may seem excessive to many throughout the series.
Just as the construction of Srijit Mukherjee should take more time, it seems that a break is needed for a while. He is making Nirmal like selling vegetables – even if it sounds bad, it is true. I’m rather worried about his next film ‘Mahaprabhu’, I don’t know what he made when he went too much!
However, the most notable thing in the story of ‘Rabindranath never came here to eat’ is his filming. The game of light and darkness has not been captured in Bengali films for a long time. Munsiana, who has tried to create a mystery picture in Bengal in a very capable and skillful way, especially in the night scenes has awakened the creepy atmosphere of the graveyard or the forest.
Fear, mystery, a neatly arranged muffler, and at its center is the mysterious Mohini Muskan Zuberi from beginning to end. Nirupam Chand will be able to solve the mystery of Muskan? Or will the smile remain a puzzle without a solution?
The writing began with a few lines from Rabindranath’s poem ‘Sonar Tari’. After watching the last episode of the series ‘Rabindranath never came here to eat, I remembered two more verses of the same poem –
This series filled the gap in Bengali thrillers that came to mind.
